MSME Promotion Council of India launches nodal office in Pfütsero, aiming to boost grassroots entrepreneurship in Phek district.

DIMAPUR — The MSME Promotion Council of India (MSME-PCI) officially launched its nodal office on Saturday at Mission Colony, Pfütsero town, Phek district.
According to an update, Rhosietho Nguori, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Phek, inaugurated the office and highlighted the significant benefits of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) programmes.
He emphasised that strengthening the local economy through MSMEs is crucial for achieving the national goal of becoming a global economic superpower and a "Viksit Bharat" by 2047.
He further stressed that for this to happen, development must occur at the grassroots level in Nagaland and Phek district, with MSME being the right agency to drive this promotion.
Aien Longchar, State Deputy Vice Chairman (SDVC) of MSME-PCI, urged local stakeholders to cooperate with the MSME team and fully utilise this new platform for their entrepreneurial ventures.

The vice president of the Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) also encouraged the local community to confidently embrace business and startup opportunities.
The new MSME-PCI office will offer a range of services, including business development support and guidance, access to government schemes and subsidies, capacity-building workshops and training programmes, and technical assistance and market linkage support.
The launch event saw attendance from various stakeholders across Phek district. The officials of MSME-PCI Phek include Zhoveto Puro as chairman, with Thujove Tunyi as vice chairman.
