MP Supongmeren Jamir continues community ambulance distribution drive

- DIMAPUR — Lok Sabha Member of Parliament (MP)
from Nagaland, S Supongmeren Jamir, continued his commitment to empowering
communities across the state by donating community ambulances to four civil
society organisations.
- The ambulances, funded through the Members of Parliament
Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS), were presented to Ao Senden, Chakhroma
Public Organisation, Eastern Nagaland People's Union Dimapur (ENPUD), and
Western Sumi Hoho during a ceremony held at NEO Motors in Diphupar on
Wednesday.
MP Jamir, in his address, reaffirmed his dedication to
serving the people of Nagaland and underlined the importance of community
leadership.
- “We have to
understand our responsibility,” Jamir said, acknowledging the trust placed in
him by the people of Nagaland through his election. “Accordingly, with all this
responsibility you have given me by electing me to represent Nagas, we all are
in the same boat and we have to work together.”
- The MP stressed the importance of unity and collaboration among
leaders to bring about meaningful change in the state.
- Opposition-less government
- He also criticised the current political landscape in
Nagaland, especially the functioning of an opposition-less government.
