An Indian Navy officer delivered a motivational talk at Nagaland University Kohima Campus, inspiring engineering students on career prospects.

DIMAPUR — The School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Nagaland University (NU), Kohima Campus, Meriema, organised a motivational talk by an Indian Navy officer on October 17 at the Seminar Hall, Department of English.
According to an update, the programme was chaired by Shanchamo Yanthan, in charge of training and placement.
On the occasion, Prof. Sujata Dash, dean, NU-SET, delivered a short speech encouraging students to prepare for all types of jobs and highlighted the presence of women personnel in the Indian Navy.
Lt. Cdr. Bezai Moses of the Indian Navy delivered a talk on the job prospects for B.Tech and engineering students in the Indian Navy. He elaborated on the different branches where interested students can join and pursue their careers in the Navy, stating that students can join any branch irrespective of their engineering specialisation.
He motivated the students to remain updated in their respective domains and to continue learning new skills to stay competitive in the job market. He also interacted with students through a Q&A session, clarified their doubts, and provided counselling.
