Mokokchung to undertake Ayushman card generation camp for students at the conference hall of the deputy commissioner’s office on Thursday

DIMAPUR — The Mokokchung division of Health department conducted a meeting on ‘100 days Ayushman student coverage mission: registration and card generation camp’ at the conference hall of the deputy commissioner’s office on Thursday.
An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Mokokchung, stated that the meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ajit Kumar Verma, deputy commissioner and chairman of District Implementation Unit (DIU), PM-JAY/CMHIS, Mokokchung.
Speaking at the meeting, the deputy commissioner emphasised the importance of coordination among departments and educational institutions for successful implementation of the mission within stipulated timeline. He also encouraged all concerned stakeholders to extend full cooperation to ensure maximum student coverage under PM-JAY/CMHIS in the district.
During the meeting, Tekamongla Walling, DPC NHPS, presented an overview and implementation plan of the mission.

It stated that the discussion focused on the number of students in schools and colleges, identification of uncovered/ left-out students and preparation of schedules for school and college visits for Ayushman card generation.
The meeting concluded with active participation and valuable suggestions from all the participants.
The meeting was attended by the chief medical officer, deputy chief medical officer, who is also the nodal officer of PM-JAY/CMHIS, district education officer, representatives from 31 schools and 5 colleges, representatives from ANPSA Mokokchung unit and officials from district administration.
