He further stated that leading Nagaland toward a prosperous future requires cultivating a culture of integrity and responsibility, beginning with a commitment to a litter-free, pollution-free, and corruption-free society.
He added that a developed state is built by skilled citizens who value the dignity of labour and urged them to move away from being burdens on the community to becoming its greatest assets. Yhome concluded by saying that the true measure of teachers’ success is not only the grades their students achieved but the kind of human beings they ultimately became.
Earlier, Dr. Kumar delivered a speech on the functionalities of the college, highlighting its achievements. He acknowledged and paid tribute to the late founder of MITE, S Hekha Mao, for his grit. He reiterated that everything is a collective effort and teamwork has been the strength, motivating the student-teachers to inculcate the power of discipline and "21st-century skills".
