Modern College bids farewell to BA 6th semester students

DIMAPUR — Modern College has organised a farewell programme for the outgoing BA 6th semester students held at the college’s indoor stadium on Friday.
The event began with singing of the college anthem, followed by speeches from both senior and junior representatives. The seniors shared words of encouragement, reflecting on their academic journey, while the juniors conveyed gratitude for the guidance and expressed their commitment to uphold the values imparted to them.
An update stated that the college’s administrator, John Besü, shared his joy to witness the students transition into a new phase of life. He noted that their journey from the first semester to the present has shaped their perspectives and growth. He emphasised that both significant achievements and small moments contribute to one’s identity and acknowledged the lasting impact students have made on the institution.

He advised them to remain grounded, uphold integrity, pursue lifelong learning and face challenges with courage. He further encouraged them to fear God, practice kindness and stay connected, reminding them that they represent the college in all they do.
It stated that the farewell programme served as a meaningful occasion, celebrating achievements while marking the beginning of new journeys.
