Miss Barak 2025 to headline State Level Barak Festival

IMPHAL — Miss Barak 2025, one of the flagship attractions of the State Level Barak Festival, will be held during the 4th edition of the event at the hilltop venue of Ziilipou near New Maram in Manipur’s Senapati district from December 12 to 14, 2025.

The jury panel features an impressive lineup: Ruopfuzhano Whiso (Miss Universe India 2024 – 4th Runner-Up), Sarita Devi (former World Champion and Arjuna Awardee), and Banner Lanamai James (Rubaru Mr. India 2023). The show will be choreographed and mentored by Danube Kangjam, Miss Asia Pacific International India.

Powered by Kabi Tingchoi, this year’s edition will introduce five emerging designers, who will showcase their creations during the grand finale on December 14. Celebrated artist Chonchon Varah will be the star performer of the evening, while Opang Jamir, Mr. International India 2012, will host the programme.

With major festivals underway across the Northeast and the Hornbill Festival drawing crowds in neighbouring Nagaland, organisers say Miss Barak 2025 is poised to match the scale and quality of any leading regional pageant. The warm hospitality of Senapati district and the vibrancy of the Barak Festival are expected to make this year’s event a memorable showcase for participants and visitors alike.
