Nagaland Power Minister KG Kenye meets NERPC Chairman Metbah Lyndoh in Shillong to discuss pending power projects in the state.

DIMAPUR — Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs KG Kenye requested the Chairman of the North Eastern Regional Power Committee (NERPC) to recommend various projects submitted by the Power department of the Government of Nagaland.
Kenye made this request during a meeting with Metbah Lyndoh, Meghalaya’s Minister of Power and Chairman of NERPC, in Shillong on April 28. Kenye was accompanied by KD Vizo, Principal Secretary, and other department officials.
An update from the minister stated that the NERPC chairman warmly welcomed the delegation and assured them that he would take up the issues raised by the Nagaland Power department with the Ministry of Power.
It further stated that an overall scenario of the funding patterns for projects, in line with the changes in the policy of the Ministry of Power, was presented by NERPC Secretary Lyngkhoi.
