MH10 Kohima defeated Changtongya Volleyball Association 3-1 to win the All-Nagaland Volleyball Championship 2025 title at Aliba Village.

ALIBA — MH10 Kohima overcame long-time rivals Changtongya Volleyball Association (CVA) 3-1 to win the All-Nagaland Volleyball Championship 2025 at Aliba Village on November 6. The match, played before a packed crowd at the village ground, added another chapter to one of the state’s most enduring sporting rivalries.
MH10 rallied after dropping the opening set 19-25, with CVA’s strong blocking and service pressure giving them the early edge. The Kohima side responded in the second set, pulling away late to level the match 25-22 after key substitutions helped steady their attack.
The third set proved pivotal, with both teams trading points under mounting pressure. CVA held a brief 21-18 lead before MH10 regrouped during a timeout and edged ahead to take the set 27-25. MH10 maintained their momentum in the fourth, forcing CVA into early timeouts and closing out the match 25-18, with libero Chubamanen central to their defensive stability.
The championship, organised by LL Group Dimapur, featured 18 teams from across the state. Imkong L Imchen, MLA and Advisor for IPR and Soil and Water Conservation, attended the closing programme and commended the organisers for promoting volleyball in the village.

Final match of 14th Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament on November 8
MH10 received a cash prize of INR1,20,000, along with a citation and trophy, while CVA took home INR 80,000 and certificates as runners-up. Town Club Mangkolemba finished third, earning INR 60,000, and Blind Spikers (LL Group) placed fourth, receiving INR 40,000.
In the individual categories, Imlichuba of MH10 was named Best Spiker, while Limatenzük of CVA won Best Setter. The Player of the Tournament award went to Reshitemjen of MH10, and Moasunep of Town Club Mangkolemba was adjudged Emerging Player of the Tournament. Each received INR 5,000 and a citation.
