Mez & Co beat Vanguard Academy 7-0 in Kohima to reach the Atuo Mezhür Sekhose Super League final against Sechü Zubza FC.

KOHIMA — Mez & Co advanced to the 1st Atuo Mezhür Sekhose Super League – Champions Cup 2026 final after thrashing Vanguard Academy 7-0 in the second semi-final at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, on Thursday.
Mez & Co will face Sechü Zubza FC in the final on Saturday, August 29, scheduled for 6 pm at Indira Gandhi Stadium.
Kevizolie Kin opened the scoring for Mez & Co in the 28th minute and scored his second in the 58th minute. Shortly after half-time, Vinato Achumi struck in the 47th minute.
Nisede Peseyie added a fourth in the 63rd minute, followed by Petevizo Kezie-o two minutes later.
Vanguard Academy's Nendy Kath then turned the ball into his own net in the 68th minute before Neihelie J Mepfhüo completed the rout in the 70th minute to seal the 7-0 victory.

The match was officiated by Michael Dul as Referee, with Vihetuo Chietsü and Mhasikhonuo Paünuo as Assistant Referees. Imlimerenla Jamir served as the Fourth Official, while Medozevi Punyü was the Match Commissioner.
The Chümoukedima District Football Association, led by President Sedevikho Angami, attended the semi-final.
For the closing ceremony on Saturday, the President of the Nagaland Football Association (NFA), who is also an executive member of the All India Football Federation (AIFF), will attend as a guest.
