DIMAPUR — A district stakeholder consultation workshop on Viksit Nagaland @2047 was held at the DBs' Court of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Meluri on April 27.
The workshop witnessed participation from government departments, civil society organisations, non-governmental organisations, private sector representatives, village leaders, and community stakeholders, stated a DIPR report.
The workshop aimed to gather multi-sectoral perspectives, identify existing developmental gaps, and formulate practical targets for the years 2030 and 2047 under short-term, medium-term, and long-term planning frameworks.
A sectoral overview was presented based on the five thematic pillars of Viksit Nagaland 2047: economic development, social development, environmental sustainability, infrastructure development, and governance and institutional strengthening.
