DIMAPUR — Former MLA of the 14th Southern Angami-I Assembly Constituency Medo Yhokha inaugurated the water harvesting tanks from traditional wells at Kitsubozou Colony, Ward No. 5, Kohima, on November 22.


According to an update, The project was constructed under the “Urban Water Supply Schemes Under Development (State) during 2023-24”.

In his address, Yhokha encouraged the colony residents to uphold the good habit of maintaining public properties. He urged the colony members to take care of the newly constructed water reservoirs so that they serve their purpose by providing clean water to the citizens, especially when water scarcity remains a major problem in the colony.


Colony Chairman Dzieseneilie Sachü expressed gratitude to Yhokha, under whose initiative the reservoirs were constructed. He also thanked him for bringing several other developmental works to the colony during his short tenure.
