Mawatongla Anayah Yaden from The Combat Academy secured gold at the Nagaland State Taekwondo Championship.
DIMAPUR — Mawatongla Anayah Yaden, an athlete from The Combat Academy (TCA), Nagaland, won a gold medal at the Nagaland State Taekwondo Championship held at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima.
According to an update from the academy, Yaden competed in the Sub-Junior Under-47 kg category under the training of Coach D Khuwoto Assummi as part of the academy's Kids Taekwondo Programme. Her performance secured her the top podium finish.
It was mentioned that Yaden was among the first students to enrol in the Kids Taekwondo Programme when it was launched specifically for children under the age of 13. Over the past year, she has demonstrated dedication, discipline, and steady progress, culminating in the achievement at the state level.
