DIMAPUR — The third day of Nagaland Revival and Healing Festival 2025 drew an unprecedented crowd of more than a lakh worshippers to the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex in Dimapur on Thursday, marking one of the largest Christian gatherings recorded in the state.
Organised by a group named The Gatekeepers, the festival aims to rekindle what it describes as the spiritual identity of Nagaland’s Christian community.
Addressing the overflowing stadium, ‘Apostle’ Ankit Sajwan described the massive turnout as “God’s doing.” But he cautioned that revival cannot be defined by crowd size alone.
Sajwan told the gathering that revival must begin within individuals. The true success of the meeting, he said, would be measured not by a packed stadium but by whether people return to the Scriptures.
Revival, he explained, is not hype or emotion but “the moment you return to life from within through the Word of God.”
“Your belief system is the lens through which you see the world,” he said, adding that Nagaland’s revival will happen “when that lens is shaped by the Word.”

He warned against chasing spiritual “thrills” alone. Real change, he said, demands a shift in speech and attitude: “Stop speaking defeat and start declaring victory. Stop speaking sickness and proclaim healing.”
Claiming what he called a crisis of witness in India, Sajwan said that many believers “speak what they see, but God speaks what He wills.” He urged the church to “rise and testify that Christ is alive,” reminding the crowd that “God never thinks defeat—whatever is born of Him overcomes the world.”
Calling out what he described as a common misunderstanding in Nagaland, the Christian preacher told the crowd, “You are not sinners—you are ignorant, and that ignorance is Satan’s delight.”
Spiritual maturity, he said, cannot be transferred. He urged people to change their speech if they want to change their lives: “Your miracle begins with the words you speak. If you don’t like the direction of your life, change the language of your tongue.”
Menawhile, The Gatekeepers announced that the Nagaland Revival and Healing Festival 2025, originally scheduled to conclude on Thursday, will be extended by a day and now end on Friday, December 5.
