DIMAPUR — The Luangdimai Theological Forum (LTF) has strongly condemned the killing of six Naga men, including members of the Luangdimai community, allegedly by Kuki individuals involving both civilians and armed militants after they were reportedly captured on May 13, 2026.
In a press statement, the forum described the incident as a brutal and inhuman act, alleging that the victims were tortured and dismembered beyond recognition.
It stated that the earlier release of 14 Kuki detainees had been carried out in the spirit of humanity, peace and Christian values, but expressed disappointment that the gesture had not been reciprocated.
The LTF termed the killings a crime against humanity and contrary to Christian teachings, expressing deep grief and outrage over what it described as a disregard for human dignity and compassion.
