Lions Club of Dimapur Elite distributes 700 pamphlets across Dimapur to mark World Sight Day and Vision Week.

DIMAPUR — On the occasion of World Sight Day and as the opening initiative of Vision Week, the Lions Club of Dimapur Elite conducted a vision awareness campaign across Dimapur under the banner "Protect your vision, protect your future".
According to an update, during the campaign, the club distributed 700 vision awareness pamphlets printed in English and Hindi to students, commuters, workers, vendors, shopkeepers, police personnel, pharmacy staff, and members of the public.
The initiative covered five key locations across the town, including Jain Temple Road and near SD Jain College, near Dimapur Railway Station, the PWD Colony and Midland Colony areas, the Clock Tower area, and the New Market area.
The campaign focused on generating awareness about eye health, early detection of vision problems, preventive eye care, and the importance of regular eye check-ups.
The project was carried out under the guidance of GLT Coordinator Neeta Agarwal, alongside President Ritika Jain.
