The Linguistic Minority Forum of Nagaland will host its Youth Conclave-cum-Cultural Fest 2026 in Dimapur on July 12.
DIMAPUR — The Linguistic Minority Forum of Nagaland (LMFN) will organise the Youth Conclave-cum-Cultural Fest 2026 at Town Hall, Dimapur, on Sunday, July 12.
The event is being organised with the objective of promoting youth leadership, communal harmony, national integration, social inclusion, and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the linguistic minority communities residing in Nagaland, stated an update from the forum.
Governor of Nagaland Nand Kishore Yadav will attend the inaugural session as the chief guest and formally inaugurate the programme. The second session will be attended by Advisor for Labour, Employment, Skill Development and Excise Moatoshi Longkumer, as the special guest.
During the second edition of the conclave, the LMFN will also formally introduce a community welfare project aimed at extending assistance and support to physically challenged and specially-abled persons from economically weaker sections across the state. The initiative seeks to facilitate access to essential services, welfare schemes, assistive devices, skill development opportunities, and community support.

The programme will also include youth interactions, cultural presentations, and the presentation of the LMFN Yuva Excellence Ratna Award 2026 to individuals who have rendered outstanding service and made contributions in various fields in the minority community during their youth as social workers.
The forum has invited members of the non-Naga minority community in Nagaland, particularly youth, students, and members of various communities, to participate in the event and join in promoting unity, cultural harmony, social justice, and inclusive development.
