Lebinuo Medoze Sano wins the Naga Chef Season 12.

KOHIMA — Lebinuo Medoze Sano from Jotsoma was declared the winner of the Naga Chef Season 12, and received a cash prize of INR 3 lakh, at the finale held on Tuesday at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
The event was organised by the Department of Tourism, in partnership with Synergy Group Enterprise.
After winning, she shared that the competition was a great experience to her, saying that it was challenging as well, because everything was judged — from cutting vegetables to plating.

With the money she won, Sano expressed that she wants to start a platform where she can showcase the rich Naga distinct flavours and delicious delicacies.
The four finalists at the grand finale were Hamngam, Moalong Imchen, Sentipokla Jamir, Lebinuo Medoze Sano.

The judges included Lori Khing, pastry chef and founder of Naga Bowl Bakery; Rovi Chasie, Nagaland cuisine expert; and Nunesano Chase, Director of YouthNet
For the finale, the challenge was titled ‘My Naga thali’ where the finalists had 75 minutes to prepare a complete traditional spread consisting of one each of main non-vegetarian dish, vegetarian dish, side dish, gravy, chutney, a hot beverage and dessert.
It was informed that that a total of 10 participants auditioned for this year's edition in the end of November, of which 4 finalists were selected. The three finalists also received INR 25,000 each.
