DIMAPUR — The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) hosted a constructive and insightful interaction with the Bangladesh High Commissioner and his delegation during their visit to Nagaland on December 8.
In a press release, the BAN stated that the meeting was aimed at fostering deeper cooperation and exploring avenues for mutual growth between the Naga business community and Bangladesh.
The association welcomed the High Commissioner and his team, expressing sincere appreciation for their time and interest in strengthening bilateral engagement.
The discussions were productive and centred around opportunities in trade, entrepreneurship, export—import collaboration, and cultural exchange.

“Both parties shared perspectives on enhancing market linkages, promoting region-specific products, and supporting business initiatives that can boost economic development.
The High Commissioner’s team showed keen interest in the diverse entrepreneurial potential of Nagaland, acknowledging BAN’s continued efforts to uplift local businesses and expand their global reach,” the release stated.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides expressing commitment to continued dialogue and collaborative efforts that can create meaningful opportunities for stakeholders in Nagaland and Bangladesh, it added.
