Advisor G Ikuto Zhimomi hosts Asian Development Bank consultants in Kohima to discuss sustainable land management projects.

DIMAPUR — A consultative meeting was held between consultants from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Advisor for the Land Resources department, G Ikuto Zhimomi, at his official residence in Kohima on June 16.
During the meeting, the members reviewed ongoing land-resource initiatives, shared technical assessments, and discussed proposed interventions to enhance sustainable land management and climate-resilient agriculture in the state.
Zhimomi emphasised the department’s commitment to participatory planning and efficient implementation of ADB-supported projects, calling for close coordination among stakeholders for the timely delivery of project outcomes.
The ADB team outlined the next steps, capacity-building measures, and timelines for project activities, and both parties agreed to continue regular consultations to ensure a successful project rollout.
