DIMAPUR — The Phek Village Citizens’ Union Phek Town (PVCUPT) held its get-together at the Royal Foundation School premises, Phek town, on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kuzholuzo Nienu stated that if any person is guided by the Bible, things cannot go wrong, or one will not be misled.
“Once you are guided by the principles of the living words, our habits and our behaviour of approach to the things within and around you will be totally changed,” Nienu said, adding that one will be more honest and trustworthy, which will ultimately lead to success.
Stating that Phek village citizens have 504 households with a population of nearly 2,500 in Phek town, he said, “We should set an example to the other communities. We should be the ones to spread love, care and support and always stay humble and grounded; that’s what the Bible teaches us.”
He also expressed happiness that “Today, the sense of unity and oneness has developed in each one of us without anyone telling us, which is a good sign which will also take us a long way.”
Dr. Kuvezochi Hoshi, general secretary and central office bearer of the Naga People’s Front (NPF), shared greetings, while Nesucho Kezo and Khutsieyi Vero also exhorted the gathering.
