DIMAPUR — The Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) conducted a three-day Vacation Bible School (VBS) from July 1 to the 3rd at the church premises on the theme “True north; trusting Jesus in a wild world; I am with you always" (Mathew 28:20).


An update from the church stated that a total of 513 students and officials attended the programme.


The speakers included Medotseilieü Kiewhuo (pastor), Neibalie Kiewhuo (pastor) and Rev. Dr. Zotuo Kiewhuo (senior pastor).

The valedictory programme was chaired by VBS director, Kekhriengulie Kuotsu, while the scripture was read by Atseinuo Kiewhuo and presentation and thanksgiving note was delivered by Belinda Kiewhuo, CEM superintendent.


Speaking at the valedictory programme, Rev. Dr. Zotuo Kiewhuo challenged the children to grow in the fear of God and be a soul winner for Jesus Christ and to preach the gospel to the ends of the world.


It stated that awards were presented to the best students. Awards for intermediate class were given to Keneingulie Seyie and Nirmoka, while for junior class awards were given to Hitoka Kinimi and Lenthula and for primary class awards were given to John Ningthoujam and Rebecca Nakhro. Awards for beginner class were given to Keneingulie Kiewhuo and Khairhune.
