Union at Mount Olive College, Kohima, on Saturday.
- DIMAPUR — The
Kohima Sumi Students' Union (KSSU) held its 4th biennial
conference-cum-felicitation programme at the Mount Olive College auditorium,
Kohima, on the theme "Empowering youth leadership," with Atoshili
Zhimomi, Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, as the special guest on
Saturday.
- According to an update, Zhimomi, while congratulating all
the successful Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) and other competitive
exam candidates, toppers in academic courses, awardees in sports, and other
professions, attributed their success to the support of their church and
parents' prayers. She encouraged them to pursue higher dreams.
- She stressed the need to limit public functions, minimise
expenditures, and avoid unnecessary presentations for guest speakers. She
suggested that a certificate would suffice for presentations to speakers,
promoting economical and low-budget event management.

for the Sumi community, fostering good relations with different Naga communities
in the state capital, Kohima, and taking responsibility for building bridges.
