Resource persons and participants pose for a photograph
during a one-day cutting and tailoring training at Zeme Baptist Church in
Kohima on Saturday.
- DIMAPUR — The
women department of Zeme Baptist Church Kohima (ZBCK), Midland, organised a
one-day training on cutting and tailoring programme at the church premises on
Saturday on the theme ‘Beautiful things come together, one stitch at a time.’
- The resource persons were Remphano Hemang and Bangdwa
Elunglung of Bstudio Boutique. During the workshop, the resource persons shared
their knowledge and expertise and demonstrated on cutting, sewing and needle
stitching techniques.
- The workshop included training on basic apron cutting and
stitching, pyjamas set making and stitching and cutting of pillow covers etc.

- The president of women department ZBCK, Angaule Nsarangbe,
invoked God’s blessing during the training and also highlighted the importance
of the workshop.
- Chiro Liegise has thanked the organisers, resource persons
and all the participants for their active participation.
- It mentioned that around twenty eight women attended the
training programme.
- The organisers have expressed willingness to conduct such
workshops in coming years and inspire women to upgrade their skills and also to
harness their creativity.
