- DIMAPUR — In view
of the public rally called by the Angami Public Organisation (APO) with all
tribal units in protest against the Indo-Myanmar fencing and its related issue
at Old MLA Hostel Junction in Kohima on April 9, the Kohima Police has issued
traffic regulations to be enforced from 8 am onwards.
- It informed that down-going vehicles (towards high school/
secretariat) would be diverted via TCP Gate–Hospital Jn.–Census Point, while
up-coming vehicles (towards PHQ) would be diverted via Razhü Point–Naga Bazaar.

- It stated that staff buses (going to secretariat/ directorate)
would be diverted via TCP Gate–T-Khel Model Road.
- It has also demarcated the road stretch from TCP Gate to
Y-Junction Phoolbari as ‘No parking zone.’
- It informed that the above traffic regulations would remain
in effect until the completion of the rally. Kohima Police has advised the
citizens to plan their routes accordingly and sought their cooperation and
support.
