The Kohima Lotha Hoho inducted its new office bearers for the 2026-2029 tenure at a meeting in Kohima.

DIMAPUR — The Kohima Lotha Hoho (KLH) held its general meeting and welcoming programme for its new office bearers for the 2026-2029 tenure at the Capital Convention Centre in Kohima on June 30.
Advisor to the Chief Minister Dr. Chumben Murry attended the event as the special invitee, according to an update.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Murry highlighted the different stages of development society is witnessing and stated that the present era is defined by Artificial Intelligence (AI). He pointed out the need to prepare younger generations to navigate and contribute meaningfully during this period of rapid technological advancement.

Referring to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, Dr. Murry reminded the gathering that Nagaland should not be left behind as the country progresses towards greater development. He urged the younger generation to equip themselves and be ready to contribute to the growth of society and the nation.
Congratulating the newly elected team, Dr. Murry stated they would serve as ambassadors of the Lotha community and called upon them to work for the welfare and progress of the people.

During the programme, Khyojamo Tungoe presented the KLH Jubilee 2025 Audit Report for 2024-2025, while L Yanremo Mozhui and S Chonbemo Lotha presented the reports for the 2024-2026 tenure.
Rev. Dr. K Benry Lotha offered the dedicatory prayer for the incoming KLH officials.
The new KLH team consists of 12 office bearers led by former Chairman KN Mhonthung Lotha, along with five advisors.
