Kohima Lotha Hoho Father’s Football Tournament reaches semi-finals as PAUN United, FAM United, Myanta FC and Officers’ Team advance.

KOHIMA — The 9th edition of Kohima Lotha Hoho Inter-Colony Father’s Football Tournament witnessed exciting quarter-final clashes on Friday, with four teams advancing to the semi-finals.
In the opening match, PAUN United edged past Goldfinch Club, New Reserve, 3-1 via penalty shootout after both sides failed to break the deadlock in regulation time.
FAM United cruised into the next round with a comfortable 3-0 win over OH & NH Tsungpvuiden, while Myanta FC, PWD-Midland, blanked Rhujung United, GHS, with the same scoreline to secure their semi-final berth.

The last quarter-final saw the Kohima Lotha Officers’ Football Team defeat AG-Chandmari 4-2 on penalties after the teams were tied 1-1 at full time.
With the results, the semi-final line-up has been set for September 8. FAM United will take on PAUN United in the first fixture, while Myanta FC, PWD-Midland, will face the Kohima Lotha Officers’ Football Team in the second.
