
Faculty and students of Kohima Law College during its
parting social on Thursday.
- DIMAPUR — Kohima
Law College (KLC) held its 46th social parting on Thursday on the theme
"Dulcis Finis, Nova Initia" (Sweet ending to a new beginning).
- An update from the college stated that the programme began
with an invocation prayed said by Ketho, assistant professor of the KLC,
followed by a welcome address delivered from the principal, Moasenla Longkumer.
- In her speech, the principal highlighted the significant
role in which students are expected to take on after leaving the college,
particularly in the field of law. She stressed the importance of
decision-making in life and used practical examples—such as ethical dilemmas
faced by drivers and doctors—to encourage moral reasoning and thoughtful
choices.

- The event featured a performance titled “Always remember
you” by 2nd semester students, a duet by Rodikohli and Katimongla and a
farewell speech by outgoing student Mankhat N Konyak.
- Atsali L Sangtam delivered a tribute on behalf of the
juniors.
- The vote of thanks was delivered by Kilangakum Longkumer and
concluded with a benediction said by Dinah, EU president.
