Kohima College celebrates first-ever winter fest on the theme “Winter Rhapsody.”

DIMAPUR — Kohima College celebrated its first-ever winter fest on Saturday on the theme “Winter Rhapsody.” The event was jointly organised by the Kohima College Students’ Council (KCSC) and Student Welfare Committee with sponsorship from Keystone Coaching Institute and NAGA HILLS Coffee.
An update from the college stated that the programme began with a welcome address delivered by the college’s principal, Dr. Vitsosie Vupru, while Yukhase Jingru, student representative of the KCSC, proposed the vote of thanks.
The highlight of the day was the “Winter Rhapsody” segment, where both students and alumni of Kohima College showcased their diverse talents through music, dance and art performances.

State-level Kala Utsav celebrated in Kohima
It stated that the event was attended by popular Naga personalities namely rapper Moko Koza, comedian Hopong Naga and the Wokha-based rock band “About Us,” whose presence drew enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
It mentioned that the Winter Fest marked a memorable day of celebration, creativity and camaraderie, reflecting the vibrant spirit of Kohima College’s student community.
