The Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry launched its golden jubilee logo, marking 50 years of service.

KOHIMA — The Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) unveiled its golden jubilee logo at the KCCI office in Kohima on August 7, marking the commencement of its 50th year since its formation in 1976.
Medozhatuo Rutsa, convenor of the Golden Jubilee Organising Committee, unveiled the logo in the presence of KCCI members, office bearers and invitees.
According to a press release, KCCI President Ruokuoneilie Kesiezie chaired the programme and explained the significance of the logo, which features the years 1976-2026 beneath the Chamber’s emblem.
He said the golden ring encircling the emblem symbolises wealth and eternity, while the golden leaves on either side signify victory and achievement.

According to Kesiezie, the elements of the logo reflect what the KCCI has built over five decades of service to the business community of the state capital.
He informed that the logo was designed by Vithuse Temi, KCCI Secretary for Sanitation.
Kesiezie said the logo belongs to every member who has contributed to keeping the Chamber standing for 50 years, adding that it marks the journey so far while committing the organisation to traders and entrepreneurs who will carry Kohima’s economy into the next 50 years.
