  • KOHIMA — The Kohima Bible College (KBC) held its 51st graduation day on Wednesday at the Multipurpose Hall, IG Stadium, Kohima, with 79 graduates across various courses.

  • A total of 21 students graduated with a Master of Divinity (Regular), 15 with a Master of Divinity (Extension), 39 with a Bachelor of Theology (Regular), and four with a Bachelor of Theology (Diploma).

  • Rev. Dr. Zotuo Kiewhuo, Abei-ü Neihulie, other faculty members, and graduates at the Multipurpose Hall, IG Stadium, Kohima, on Wednesday.


  • The speaker at the ceremony, Rev. Dr. Zotuo Kiewhuo, principal of Kohima Bible College and founder and senior pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church, urged the graduates to obey God's commandments, follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, and keep their eyes fixed on Him.

  • Emphasising the importance of being rooted in the Bible, Rev. Kiewhuo encouraged the graduates to go and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • He warned that the love of money is the root of all evil, as with Judas Iscariot in the Bible, and exhorted the students to uphold Christian principles with conviction in their various callings as disciples and soldiers of Jesus Christ, regardless of the circumstances.

  • The academic awards for 2025 were also announced on the occasion. For the Master of Divinity course, Dorodila T Sangtam received David Nann's Award (overall topper), the President's Award (Old Testament), and the Principal's Award (New Testament). In the Bachelor of Theology course, Chosülü Chuzho was awarded David Nann's Award (overall topper), the President's Award (Old Testament), the Principal's Award (New Testament), and Leona Nann's Award (Systematic Theology).

  • The non-academic awards for Master of Divinity in 2025 included the Late Rev. Neihulie's Award for Practical Ministry, given to Rebekha Shakai, Mulevoto Venuh, Yacob T Phom, Bhim Gurung, and Bijaya Basnet. The Late Rev. Neihulie's Award for Spiritual Maturity was presented to Cing Sian Nuam, Joyson Pfithu, and S Salenthong Khevazuklu.

  • For the Bachelor of Theology non-academic awards in 2023, the Late Rev. Neihulie's Award for Practical Ministry was given to Teisozhano Τeρa, Vengo-ȕ Koza, and Shouje. The Late Rev. Neihulie's Award for Spiritual Maturity was awarded to Kesinnye Kesen, Chechey Lhamo, and Beduta Phesa-o. The Late Rev. Neihulie's Award for Social Service went to Kevie-o Koza, Hukholü Rhakho, David Kemp, and Haizinlung Teilia.

  • The Student of the Year Award for 2025 was given to Zizo Vero.
