Khonoma Students’ Union held the 10th Green Fest, a major cleanliness drive promoting the village’s commitment to cleanliness.

DIMAPUR — The Khonoma Students’ Union (KSU) conducted the 10th edition of the “Green Fest”, a voluntary cleanliness drive, in and around Khonoma village on Saturday.
According to the union, the initiative aimed to maintain cleanliness in and around the village and saw the participation of around 50 volunteers who thoroughly cleaned various parts of the area.
The KSU extended gratitude to all volunteers and well-wishers, including those who contributed financially towards the success of the event.

Reminding the public that Khonoma, being a Green Village, upholds a strict and uncompromising commitment to cleanliness, the union noted that many visitors continue to disregard these practices despite repeated reminders and clearly displayed notice boards.
As the Hornbill Festival and the festive season approach, the KSU welcomed all visitors to Khonoma and encouraged everyone to respect and uphold the village’s cleanliness traditions.
