Kezieke Colony organises Inter-Sector Futsal Tournament in Kohima

DIMAPUR — The Kezieke Colony in Kohima organised a one-day Inter-Sector Futsal Tournament at the Perielie Solo Memorial Turf, Kezieke, on Monday.

According to an update, the tournament was inaugurated by Medozeu Rio, former chairman of the Kezieke Welfare Board, who attended as the special guest.

The inaugural programme was chaired by Lhoulaneituo Pienyü, president of the Kezieke Youth Organisation (KYO). The invocation was pronounced by Vonuo, followed by a song presented by the Destitute Home. Kevingutuo Solo administered the oath-taking for all participants.

In the men’s category, team Alespo emerged as champions, while team Defenders finished as runners-up. In the women’s category, team Suddenly clinched the championship title, and T Special secured the runners-up position.

Men’s highest goal scorer: Aruve (Defenders)

Men’s best goalkeeper: Ahun Zeliang (Zero FC)

Women’s highest goal scorer: Kekhriesinuo (Suddenly)

Women’s best goalkeeper: Limpanshi (T Special)
