Former NPWD engineer-in-chief Kahuli Sema has been appointed as a non-official director on the Engineers India Limited board for a three-year term.
KOHIMA — Former engineer-in-chief of the Nagaland Public Works Department (NPWD), Kahuli Sema, has been appointed as a non-official director (NoD) on the Board of Engineers India Limited (EIL).

The appointment was approved by the competent authority under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, for a period of three years with effect from August 12, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The Ministry communicated the appointment to the chairman and managing director of Engineers India Limited through a letter dated August 12.
Sema is listed under category A(vi), along with Ashish Kumar Gupta, who has also been appointed as a non-official director.

She had previously served as engineer-in-chief of the Nagaland Public Works Department before voluntarily retiring from government service in 2023.
Engineers India Limited is a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, providing engineering and consultancy services in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
