Joint Council Forum organises anti-rabies vaccination camp at Middle Point Colony on Saturday.

DIMAPUR — The Joint Council Forum (JCF) comprising Middle Point, Churches Colony and NST Colony, in collaboration with the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, conducted an anti-rabies vaccination camp at the residence of its treasurer on Saturday.
An update from the Forum stated that more than 100 dogs were vaccinated during the camp. It stated that the primary objective of the programme was to ensure safety of dog and pet owners from rabies, while also promoting the health and well-being of the wider community.

The Forum has expressed gratitude to Dr. Michael Imti Imchen, deputy director; Dr. Bocto Sumi, veterinary surgeon; and their dedicated team from the department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services for their guidance, dedication and steadfast support in carrying out the vaccination drive. The Forum also appreciated the three council members and all residents for their active cooperation and enthusiastic participation, which contributed to the success of the event.
