DIMAPUR — Office of the Joint Controller of Communication Accounts (Jt. CCA), NE-II, conducted a telecom outreach programme on September 18 on a hybrid mode with the participation of telecom licensees from different parts of the northeast region.
An update from Joint CCA stated that the programme focused on key areas including licence fee, spectrum usage charges, compliance matters and grievance redressal mechanisms.
It stated that senior officials from the Department of Telecommunications emphasised on transparent service delivery, adoption of digital initiatives for ease of operations and enhanced coordination between the department and industry stakeholders.

In his address, the Joint Controller of Communication Accounts, K Sajal, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to efficiency, accountability and timely resolution of industry-related issues.
The programme concluded with an interactive session, where participants shared feedback and sought clarifications, fostering stronger collaboration for the growth of telecom services in the northeast region.
