No response from government after three-day dialogue deadline, says committee
DIMAPUR — The Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) on IAS Induction has announced that it will escalate and intensify its ongoing pen down strike from November 6, following the expiry of the three-day timeline for dialogue with the state government.
In a circular issued on Monday, the committee stated that the government had not responded within the stipulated period, which ended on November 3.
“With the three days timeline for dialogue expiring on the 3rd November 2025 and having received no response from the government, the Joint Coordination Committee has resolved to escalate and intensify the ongoing pen down strike with effect from 6th November 2025 for which further instructions will be issued shortly,” it stated.
The JCC, comprising the Confederation of All Nagaland State Service Employees’ Association (CANSSEA), Federation of Nagaland State Engineers Service Association (FONSESA), Nagaland In-service Doctors’ Association (NIDA), Nagaland Secretariat Service Association (NSSA), and Nagaland Finance and Accounts Service Association (NF&ASA), has been protesting the state government’s decision on the induction of non-SCS officers into the IAS.
