DIMAPUR — Jawahar Bal Manch (JBM) Nagaland participated in the AARAMBH Leadership Training Programme for State Children Committees held at Indira Bhavan, New Delhi, on July 12 and 13.
According to an update themed “A journey of transform”, the programme aimed to inspire and equip young leaders to take initiative in building a better society.
Representing Nagaland, Kaqheto Kughutu, state chief coordinator, and Qhetovi Zhimo, general secretary of the State Children Committee, participated in the programme.
The first day began with a guided tour of Delhi, where the children were introduced to important historical and national landmarks. This educational excursion helped deepen their understanding of India’s heritage, democracy, and governance.

The training sessions, led by experts and mentors including Dr. GV Hari, national chairman of JBM; Manoj Dutta, national coordinator and Nagaland in-charge; and other coordinators, covered topics such as leadership, child rights, teamwork, and civic responsibility.
The children engaged in group activities, discussions, and cultural exchanges.
