MOKOKCHUNG — The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Mokokchung district, organised a goodwill visit to Nahum Hostel in Chami village on Tuesday as part of its ongoing humanitarian outreach initiatives.
Nahum Hostel is a charitable children’s home managed by the Chami Baptist Arogo and the Chami Village Council, primarily catering to underprivileged children studying below Class 4.
During the visit, the IRCS team distributed essential food items and medicines to 13 children to support their health and wellbeing.
Dr. SS Akaba Longchar, Honorary Secretary of IRCS Mokokchung, addressed the children, sensitising them on healthy self-care practices and the importance of maintaining proper hygiene in daily life.
Members of the society also interacted with the children and hostel staff, reaffirming their commitment to serving the community and promoting humanitarian values.
