
Adaha Kayina, Sanwibou Daimai and Lima Lemtur along with the
participants during an integrated course on Christian Education at TRC Hall,
Aizuto, on May 10.
- AIZUTO — A
five-day integrated course in Christian education, organised by the Christian
Education department of Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SBAK) Aizuto,
concluded on May 10 at the Sumi Christian Centre, Aizuto.
- The programme, designed to train aspiring children’s
leaders, was aimed at equipping participants with biblical knowledge and
practical skills to nurture young believers in their churches and homes.
- The course instructors namely Adaha Kayina, director of
Christian Education Fellowship (CEF) of India, Dehradun, and Sanwibou Daimai,
director of CEF of India North Eastern States, guided the participants through
a comprehensive syllabus covering Bible doctrine survey, biblical expositions
and the dignity of labour.

- Lima Lemtur, assistant professor and proprietor of Sound
Wave Studio, Mokokchung, complemented the training with a session on managing
and utilising church sound systems to enhance worship experiences.
- Lemtur emphasised the course’s purpose, stating, “It is
designed to equip believers to educate children in true biblical knowledge
rooted in Christ, so that they grow to reflect His character. Participants are
prepared to be faithful Bible teachers in their churches and homes.”
- The training sought to foster spiritual growth and practical
skills for child education within the Sumi Baptist community.
- The course was successfully conducted under the leadership
of Rev. Dr. Daniel Chishi, SBAK executive secretary, and dedicated staff of
SBAK.
- The course culminated with a closing service held on May 10
at TRC Hall, Aizuto, where trainees showcased their God-given talents.
- Rev. Vitoshe Aye, mission secretary of SBAK, delivered an
exhortation, while Illika, Christian education secretary, distributed
certificates to the participants.
- Meanwhile, SBAK has decided to collaborate with training
institutes to offer co-curricular skill programmes in tailoring, beauty and
wellness, carpentry and mechanics.
- “These initiatives will empower candidates to serve the Lord
while becoming self-reliant,” the association stated, highlighting its vision
to blend spiritual growth with practical livelihoods.
