DIMAPUR — The Inner Wheel Club of Dimapur held its 12th installation ceremony titled “Jaagriti” on July 7 at the Rotary Centre, Dimapur, with the district chairman, Pinki Agarwal, as the chief guest.
The programme commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp, symbolising wisdom and new beginnings, followed by a welcome address delivered by its president, Shobha Jain, while the annual report was presented by its secretary, Vinita Jain.
A key highlight of the event was the release of the club’s bulletin, which was unveiled jointly by the chief guest and the club president.
An update from the club stated that district awards were given away by the president, while member awards were given away by the outgoing president, honouring the dedication and service of all club members.

The ceremonial installation of the new president was marked by handing over of the charter, symbolising a smooth and dignified transition of leadership. The newly formed executive board was also officially installed on the occasion.
In her acceptance speech, the newly installed president, Anita Sethi, outlined her vision, goals and commitment for the coming years. It was followed by a speech by the chief guest, who lauded the club’s initiatives and inspired the members to continue their dedicated service.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the secretary, Meena Sethi, followed by singing of the national anthem.
