Imchen’s Custom Art School and NPYF celebrated World Music Day in Kohima with a painting competition and new course launch.

DIMAPUR — Imchen’s Custom Art School, in collaboration with the National People’s Youth Front (NPYF), Nagaland State unit of the National People's Party (NPP), marked World Music Day with a painting competition held at AG Colony Council Hall in Kohima on June 21.
According to an update, Moa Imchen, the proprietor and a 3D architectural designer, shared on the occasion that music transcends boundaries and unites people worldwide. He also highlighted that arts and crafts provide numerous benefits, enhancing mental and physical well-being while promoting cognitive, life skills, and social development.

He also stated that the school is inclusive and offers opportunities to all students, including children with special needs. He further informed that a 3D architectural design course has been introduced into the curriculum and will be available for both junior and senior categories.
Imchayanger Pongen, advocate, who also attended the programme, boosted the morale of art aspirants and encouraged them to excel and become professionals.
Nicky Nongkhlaw, National President of NPYF, NPP, highlighted the significance of music as a universal language that fosters self-expression, creativity, teamwork, discipline, and emotional well-being.
