MOKOKCHUNG — The Mokokchung branch of IDBI Bank officially rolled out its second Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative on Monday, covering two projects—SEED (Supporting Education for Empowerment and Development) and HOPE (Healthcare Outreach Program for Everyone).
Branch Manager PH Alexander revealed that the bank has earmarked INR 75,000 for the SEED project to bolster educational development in the district and INR 3 lakh for the HOPE initiative to strengthen healthcare services across the district.
It was mentioned that since establishing its presence in Mokokchung in 2013, IDBI Bank has contributed to local development. Last year's CSR activity channelled INR 1.5 lakh into educational support for local schools.

Explaining the beneficiary selection process, Alexander noted that the bank carried out an extensive on-ground survey to pinpoint genuine needs, with inputs from the Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC). He called on residents of Mokokchung to extend their collaboration and support for the success of future community programmes.
The inauguration event was held at the MMC Conference Hall under the chairmanship of MMC Deputy Chairman Lanuakum.
