ICFAI University Nagaland organises academic event on management.

DIMAPUR — The Management Studies department of the ICFAI University Nagaland (IUN), in collaboration with the university's IQAC, organised an academic event on Friday, which provided students with practical exposure and insights into the professional world of management.
An update from the university stated that the session was conducted by Adakho Kadete, MBA 2013 batch of the university, as the resource person. It stated that Kadete, who is currently working as manager of procurement department at Chabou and Co., shared valuable insights about industry practices, career development and the importance of professional skills in the corporate sector.
The interactive session helped students understand real-world business environments and encouraged them to focus on continuous learning and skill development.

In another programme, the Political Science department of the university organised a student engagement activity titled “Breaking gender stereotypes” on March 11 to commemorate International Women’s Day.
It stated that students from both Undergraduate and Masters' classes actively participated in discussions on common societal stereotypes such as women being too emotional for decision-making, not suitable for high-pressure jobs and not interested in politics.
Students also held discussion on gender roles in leadership and household responsibilities.
It further stated that the activity encouraged critical thinking and promoted awareness about gender equality among students.
