Homeless man found dead near Symbios in Dimapur

• DIMAPUR — An unidentified non-Naga homeless man was found dead on Tuesday in a marketing shed near Symbios, Dimapur. The body was discovered inside a mosquito net by a local resident, who reported it to East Police Station, Dimapur.

• According to an update, telephonic information was received at East Police Station stating that an unidentified male was lying dead. Accordingly, the police personnel on duty rushed to the site.

• It was mentioned that the unidentified person was aged around 35 to 40 years. An inquest was conducted on the body, and no injury marks were found on the deceased, nor could any foul play be ascertained.

• The cause of death was suspected to be prolonged illness. On completion of all legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
