DIMAPUR — To promote health awareness among uniformed personnel, a sensitisation lecture-cum-screening test camp on HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) was conducted on June 18 at the HQ Chief Engineer, Project Sewak, in Dimapur.
According to an update, the event was organised in collaboration with the chief medical officer (CMO), Dimapur, and Prodigal Home.
It was mentioned that the camp had the presence of the chief engineer and officers of HQ Chief Engineer, Project Sewak, as well as a large gathering of personnel and civilian paid labourers (CPLs) and featured a series of audio-visual presentations.

A session by Atsung Aier, programme manager, Prodigal Home, provided community-level perspectives, supported by informative video material.
In addition to the educational component, a free medical screening was conducted for HIV, STIs, and malaria. Forty-three individuals availed themselves of the facility.
