Department of Health and Family Welfare conducts speciality camp at Shamator Community Health Centre in Tuensang with 194 beneficiaries.

DIMAPUR — The Department of Health and Family Welfare, Tuensang, conducted a speciality camp under the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Shamator, Tuensang district, on Saturday.
According to an update, a total of 194 beneficiaries received medical services during the camp.
The services included 17 antenatal care check-ups, 23 malaria screenings, 16 HIV & AIDS tests, three hepatitis B and three hepatitis C screenings, three scrub typhus tests, and 24 hypertension check-ups.

Health education sessions were held on menstrual hygiene and anaemia. Information, education and communication (IEC) materials in English and the local Yimchunger dialect, sanitary napkins, and iron folic tablets were also distributed.
The camp was led by Dr. Ayangla Saku, DPO (CD-1), along with Dr. Nungsang (gynaecology), Dr. Chensangba (ENT), doctors and nurses of CHC Shamator, pharmacist from the District Warehouse, CMO Tuensang, Mobile ICTC (DAPCU), DPMU team, BAC Shamator block, and ASHAs.
