- DIMAPUR — As part
of the Women Empowerment Livelihood Programme, a project initiated by the
Community Educational Centre Society (CECS) with support from the Azim Premji
Philanthropic Initiatives (APPI), a group of 20 women beneficiaries took part
in a field learning visit to The Naga Farm in Kangtsung, Mokokchung, on
Thursday.
- The participants included five women each from Asangma and
Kangtsung and ten from Tuli, according to a press release.

- The visit was organised on the theme “Hands-on learning in
piggery management” and aimed to equip the participants with practical
knowledge and skills in piggery practices and sustainable livestock management.
- The session was facilitated by Subonenba Longkumer,
proprietor of The Naga Farm, and Zimik Tamreichan, manager of The Naga Farm,
who served as the resource persons for the day.

- Through live demonstrations and interactive discussions, the
beneficiaries gained valuable insights into efficient piggery management, farm
hygiene, feeding techniques, and business-orientated livestock rearing.
