DIMAPUR — Greenwood School, Kuda village, Dimapur, held its annual Science exhibition on Friday on the theme “Experimenting with possibilities.”
An update from the school stated that the event witnessed an overwhelming response with 631 participants presenting 229 innovative models, showcasing the creativity and scientific temper of the students.
Speaking at the programme, the chief guest and divisional forest officer of Dimapur, Beizo Suokhrie, emphasised that science is “more than just a subject, it is a way of thinking and understanding the world around us.” He added that science exhibition is not merely a display of projects but “a celebration of curiosity, creativity and inquisitiveness that drive us towards development.”
Urging the students never to give up, he said, “We should have strong determination and perseverance, for success is that point where preparation meets opportunity.”

On the occasion, Suokhrie also inaugurated a set of DC buzzers, designed and developed by the science faculty of Greenwood School under the leadership of Tiatemsu, assistant teacher of Physics.
Also speaking on the occasion, school’s director, Asito Peseyie, lauded the efforts of both students and teachers for making the exhibition a success.
Following the formal programme, the gathering visited the exhibition stalls where students displayed their working models. Some of the noteworthy projects included robotic farmer (Class 4), wireless mobile charger (Class 5), economical solar SUV (Class 5), solar-powered drip irrigation system (Class 8), plasma cannon (Class 10), humidifier (Class 12), robotic arm (Class 11), self-sustained waste management factory (Class 11) and sound visualiser (Class 12).
