WOKHA — After a gap of seven years, the Miss Wokha beauty pageant made a dazzling comeback at the Public Ground in Wokha on November 3 with an enthusiastic turnout.
The event was organised by Glamours Event Management in collaboration with the Lotha Eloe Hoho.
This year’s edition saw vibrant participation from contestants who showcased confidence, grace, and charm.
Grace Kikon, was crowned Miss Wokha 2025 while Yisanbeni Tsanglao, and Nzanbeni Humtsoe, were adjudged first and second runner-up respectively.
Ch. R. John Zeliang, Head of Plant at Doyang Hydro Power Station (NEEPCO), graced the occasion as the special guest. In his address, he described the pageant as a “journey of self-discovery,” highlighting that each participant carries a unique story of dreams, challenges, and individuality.

He encouraged the contestants to embrace both inner and outer beauty, and to cultivate confidence and purpose.
Speaking on the theme “Beauty with Purpose,” Zeliang urged the gathering to uphold cleanliness, conservation, and positive transformation within the community.
“Stand firm on good values and be a voice for positive change,” he said while encouraging the winners to serve as ambassadors of progress and inspiration in Wokha.
